Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) is a non-profit, European artist only, 100% showcase festival and music conference. Selling out each year ESNS attracts over 4.000 professional delegates, including 400 international festivals, and showcases around 350 European artists for over 40.000 visitors total.

Commissioned by VPRO, media partner of ESNS, Bravoure developed the complete streaming platform, where everyone can experience the festival digitally for four evenings long. A central place where interaction with music lovers is maximized, everyone comes together and the unique festival feeling can be conveyed.

The livestreams hosted exclusive live sets from 189 acts from 36 European countries and offered an unspoiled front-row view. The ease of channel hopping and the short-but-sweet 15 minute set time, makes the act of discovery devastatingly simple. The rewatch option made it possible to watch back every act on the bill whenever you want.

By adding the 'discover' functionality, where you as a visitor can browse 181 artists, you can randomly discover the latest music and artists from home and abroad. In addition to watching the performance, you can read background information about the artist at a glance in the live stream.

The first online edition of ESNS has exceeded all expectations. The shows were highly praised by media, music lovers, and professionals and the artists gained a much greater reach for their showcases. With this, the mission of ESNS was more than secured; promoting and circulating new Dutch and European music.
