Development
Starting from a strategic vision, we designed and built a social-first digital ecosystem that connects content, community, and conversion. AI-supported prototyping was used to explore concepts, test flows, and accelerate decision making.
The project
Oxfam Novib stands behind millions of people worldwide who fight for equality, fair wages, and justice. While the mission is powerful, social justice can feel abstract and distant for many audiences.
The challenge was to make this mission more relatable and actionable. The ambition was to move from broad messaging to focused engagement by building topic-based micro communities. Communities where people feel represented, heard, and motivated to take action.
Oxfam Novib needed more than a website. They needed a digital approach that activates supporters, connects them around shared topics, and turns engagement into long-term impact.
From idea to execution
Together with Oxfam Novib, we defined the Community Growth Cycle. A continuous loop of social-first content, community interaction, and meaningful conversion.
Using AI-supported prototyping, we quickly explored how social content, community environments, and conversion flows could work together as one system. This allowed us to validate ideas early and design an experience shaped around real supporter behaviour.
From there, we designed and developed a mobile-first platform where micro communities live across social and digital touchpoints. Content is co-created with local changemakers, communities are built around specific themes, and supporters are guided naturally toward actions like donations, petitions, or subscriptions.
The result is a scalable digital foundation that helps Oxfam Novib grow relevance, engagement, and impact. A platform that turns abstract causes into human stories and collective action, while continuously learning and evolving through community insight.
