We transformed Kalkhoff’s digital journey into a high-conversion engine, bridging the gap between premium brand desire and qualified dealer sales.

The project

Kalkhoff builds high quality e-bikes that stand for simplicity, reliability, and everyday performance. However, this clarity was not yet reflected in the digital buying journey.

Users struggled to compare models, leading to choice paralysis and abandoned sessions. Simultaneously, Kalkhoff needed a focused UX vision for their companion app to ensure long-term rider loyalty.

We resolved this by streamlining the decision-making architecture, creating a frictionless e-commerce path and an intuitive app interface that enhances the daily ride.

From idea to execution

We started with workshops and UX research to understand how people actually choose an e-bike. Through user testing, we identified moments of friction, missing information, and uncertainty in the journey from product overview to product detail and conversion.

Based on these insights, we redesigned the POP to PDP flow to surface the right information at the right moment. Comparisons became clearer, decision points more explicit, and the overall journey more supportive rather than overwhelming.

In parallel, we defined the UX and UI concept for Kalkhoff’s upcoming app. The focus was on everyday use. Quick access to bike status, clear ride insights, and intuitive navigation without distractions. The interface was designed to support the rider instead of competing for attention.

The result is a clearer, more confident digital experience that reflects the quality of Kalkhoff bikes and supports users both before and after the purchase.
