What you'll bring

• Experience: 7+ years in backend development, preferably at a digital agency, with a strong portfolio of technically complex projects.

• Technical skills: Proficiency in PHP (Laravel), MySQL, GraphQL, Git, and AWS technologies like Lambda and ElasticBeanstalk.

• Testing expertise: Experience with testing to ensure reliability and performance.

• Architectural knowledge: You know how to craft systems with clarity and purpose and can adhere and promote best practices and industry standards.

• AI integration: Proactively explore how AI can enhance development workflows and client services - we are doing some real work with AI, it’s not just buzzwords.

• Collaboration: Strong communicator who excels in a sparring role with both clients and team members.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems for high-performing digital platforms.

• Translate complex client requirements into seamless technical solutions.

• Ensure maintainability and scalability through rigorous testing and architectural best practices.

• Mentor team members, sharing knowledge and driving technical excellence.

• Collaborate with designers, strategists, and developers to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
